Now Online: Holistic Spirituality, Part 1 – Finding Courage and Steadiness with Uncertainty

with Oren Jay Sofer

Saturday, April 11th, 2020 | 1:00pm – 4:30pm ET / 10:00am – 1:30pm PT

Due to COVID-19, this program will now be offered online only. Those who already registered for the in-person program will automatically be transferred to this online program. All registrants will be emailed the link to the online program prior to the program.

The path of awakening taught by the Buddha includes a wide range of practices to calm the body and mind, to heal the heart, and to respond to need with wisdom and compassion. Silent meditation is only one form of training. In this series of online, half-day retreats, we will build on the foundation of inner practice to build a holistic approach to transformation and engaged action.

Join author and meditation teacher Oren Jay Sofer exploring ways to calm the mind and body, manage fear and anxiety effectively, and offer loving support to others in distress. Our program will include a range of tools, from silent meditation and visualization to movement and interactive practice.

This event is appropriate for meditators at all levels of experience. All are welcome; no prior experience necessary.

This retreat will be held online via Zoom, and will include meditation instructions, short Dharma talks, as well time for questions. We will take several short breaks, including a half hour break in the middle.

This program is the first of a three part online series with Oren Jay Sofer. Click here for more info.
