DESCRIPTION:In-Person: Peaceful Pause – Open Community Sit\n \nSaturday\, May 24th\, 2025 | 9:00am – 5:00pm ET (come and go as you wish!)\n \nLocation: New York Insight at 115 West 29th Street\, 12th Floor\n \n\n \nAs the city moves through the busy Memorial Day weekend\, we invite you to step into a space of quiet\, stillness\, and peace. Join us for an open day of community meditation — come for some or all of the day\, as your heart and schedule allow. \nA bell will sound every 30 minutes\, gently marking optional sitting and walking periods. A tea station will be available throughout the day for quiet refreshment. There will be no Dharma talk\, no formal program — just a welcoming space to sit in stillness together. \nWe invite you to leave your phone at the door and enter into the practice of Noble Silence\, offering yourself and others the gift of undisturbed presence. You are free to come and go as you wish between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Feel welcome to bring your lunch and enjoy it mindfully as part of your practice. \nYour generosity — or dana — helps make this day of meditation and ease possible. Please give what you can.
