Online: A New Year Invitation – The Five Daily Reflections

with Nikki Mirghafori

Thursday, January 20th, 2022 | 6:00pm – 8:00pm ET

The Buddha advised all practitioners, lay and monastic alike, to engage with the Five Daily Reflections. These powerful remembrances serve as the heavenly messengers. They beckon to us, just as they did to the Buddha as he left the palace walls, to walk the path of freedom.

The more we welcome these five friends into our awareness, the more they shake us out of complacency of wasting time, motivate us to live aligned with our values, open our hearts in generosity and letting go, keep us from falling into the trap of self-pity, moisten our hearts in compassion for ourselves and others, and more.

Whether these contemplations are old friends, acquaintances, or yet to be known, please join us in community for an evening of (re-)connecting, befriending, cultivating, and deepening your own unique and rewarding relationship with these Five Daily Reflections in the New Year.
