In-Person: Awake in Urban Nature – Sensory Experience in Central Park

with Maho Kawachi

Saturday, June 21st, 2025 | 9:30am to 12:30pm

Location: Central Park Great Hill, Manhattan, NY

Please join us on Central Park’s Great Hill (northwest corner) for sitting/walking meditation, and gentle movement together. Through the experiences of the five senses, we will see that nature is part of us and we are part of nature. This is a special opportunity to bring your practice into a natural setting and meet others who are interested in exploring outdoor meditation.

Together we will slow down, silence our phones, and tune in to what’s going on around us and in our bodies and minds. Join us to immerse yourself in NYC’s Central Park and discover the joy of being with others in urban nature.

This gathering will be conducted in Noble Silence. There will be time for sharing at the end. Beginners and seasoned practitioners all welcome.

This event is limited to 25 participants. Light rain or shine.
