In-Person and Online: Finding Refuge in an Unstable World

with Bradley Donaldson

Thursday, July 17, 2025 | 6:30pm – 8:30pm ET

In-Person Location: New York Insight at 115 West 29th Street, 12th Floor

In times of uncertainty—whether personal or global—it’s natural to feel overwhelmed. Often, what we most desire is solid ground, a place of peace and clarity within the chaos. But without a reliable inner refuge, we can be swept away by stress, anxiety, and a sense of powerlessness.

When we lack tools to meet life’s instability with steadiness, we may begin to shut down, which strains our relationships and also limits our ability to show up for what matters.

In this evening session with Buddhist teacher and former monastic Bradley Donaldson, we will take a moment to pause and recenter. Through guided meditation, shared readings, and straightforward Dharma reflections, we will explore how the Buddha’s teachings can help us find refuge—not in escaping the world, but in turning towards it with compassion and clarity.

You will leave with some more tools for grounding yourself, building resilience, and discovering a steadiness that can carry you through uncertain times.

Join us to find your footing amidst life’s turbulence, reconnect with a deeper sense of peace, and experience the strength of building refuge—together.
