Max Polaner has had an active meditation practice for a decade, including being an active member of the New York Insight community as well as attending multiple retreats at the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, MA. Max brings decades of experience leading and supporting nonprofits, primarily in the education sector, to his board role at New York insight. Professionally, Max currently serves as the Managing Partner of Investor Relations at New Profit, a venture philanthropy organization that supports early stage nonprofits in the education, economic mobility and democracy sectors. Max splits his time between Montclair, NJ and Dumbo Brooklyn, where he lives with his wife and where his grown daughters visit when they are in town.
